Lady

Could you give $5 to save this sick girl?

Please chip in!

This pretty Saint is Lady.  She is a great big girl that ended up as a stray in Texas.  Bad went to worse when she was picked up and brought to a kill shelter in Dallas.  Her future was dim when our rescue partners, Rosie and Gisela at St. Cloud’s, stepped up to save her with our sponsorship.

Please chip in and help raise $180 for her using the ChipIn.

Our donations will go towards the surgery she needs and pay part of her costs while St. Clouds finds her a good home.

All donations go directly from Paypal to St. Cloud's Rescue, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save this one and many more!

If you are interested in adopting, please contact St. Clouds at http://stcloudsrescue.org/

Jessie

Could you spare $5 to save Jessie?

This emaciated Akita girl was picked up as a stray along with her Malamute boy pal, who was in equally starved condition.  They ended up in a kill shelter in rural California.  A sled dog rescue took the Malamute but left this girl behind, crying for her boyfriend when they took him away.  Sad, to say the least.

Jessie is young, but in a lot of trouble.  She needs to be rescued before she is killed and then needs to be vetted to see if she has just been starved and abused or she has serious medical problems that have caused her present skeletal condition.

Our friends at the Niko Rescue Foundation have asked for us to sponsor Jessie so they can afford to take her.  With our sponsorship, they will take her out of the shelter and get her to a vet.  Eventually, they will find her a good home!

Please help us raise the $200 we need to help save her.

All donations go directly from Paypal to the Niko Foundation Rescue, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save these puppies and many more!

Thank you so much for contributing. Your donations are having a big impact - our Club has helped to save hundreds of dogs from kill shelters and those dogs owe their lives to you!

Coco, a Georgia Peach

Could you spare $5 to help this discarded girl?

Please Chip In!

This scared girl is Coco. Abandoned by her owners, Coco became a stray and obviously had a hard time of it. She ended up in a kill shelter in rural Georgia and it was a frightening experience for her. Our friends at Great Pyr Rescue of Atlanta are working to save her from being destroyed. Our sponsorship helps them to afford to vet, feed and foster her.

Please help save her by chipping in – even $5 is a big help. Thanks!

Gigi

Could you please give $5 to help us save Gigi?
Please chip in at www.doomeddogs.blogspot.com.

Poor Gigi ended up in a tiny kill shelter in rural Texas.  Although she is a gorgeous Great Pyr with a great personality (just look at those eyes!), she was doomed from the moment she was picked up as a stray.  With very little space available at the shelter, new dogs have only a few days before they are killed.

Luckily, she was spotted online by Doomed Dogs member Em Wolf, who emailed our rescue coordinator, Reg Rand.  Reg reached out to the rescues she thought might help.

So often we fail at finding a rescue to take the dogs we are trying to save, but in this case,. Ken Anctil and the other wonderful people at Texas Great Pyr Rescue agreed to take her in, with our sponsorship.  Our sponsorship money will go toward her vet bills.

Please help save her life by chipping in!

Tiny Tim

Could you please chip in $5 to help Tiny Tim?

This old guy is a feisty 5-pound Maltese who was dumped at a shelter in Ohio because of his health issues. Cheaper to dispose of him than to care for him.

Rescue work really shows how awful people can be on the one hand and then how wonderful other people can be on the other. Luckily, this group is on the side of the angels! We got an urgent plea to help save Tiny Tim, so Caring Hearts Rescue could afford to take him out of the kill shelter before he was put down. Of course, we pledged our sponsorship right away!

Please help us! Without money for medical costs, this guy will die…

All donations go directly from Paypal to Caring Hearts Rescue, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible.

Shelter Puppies and Mom

Do you love puppies?  These little guys were born in a shelter and doomed to die.

But with the help of Connie and Dave Guthrie and a little help with gas money from our Club, they and 50 of their friends will get to safety in Chicago this week.  Could you please help?

Please chip in!

Here’s a message from Connie:

Hi Michael and all Friends,
We hope and pray all had a wonderful Christmas and we pray for all to have a safe New Year.

We took this week off.

Next Wednesday we have many more homeless animals that have to go north.

Paws and 2 other humane societies have openings this next week.

We are asking for help to help us transport not only these but many others to Chicago.

We have at least 56 planning on going on this trip. This mom and her babies, 5 other moms and their babies.

We want to thank everyone. Without you, we could not help bring these precious lives north to their forever home.

God Bless,

Connie and David Guthrie
Save Our Strays, Inc.

Connie and Dave regularly drive around and pick up doomed dogs from shelters in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. These dogs would likely be put to sleep if not for them.  Your donations literally make the difference as to whether there is enough gas money for these trips to happen or not and whether these dogs live or die- thanks for your support!
