This potentially handsome Great Pyr was abandoned by his family when they left their farm.  He was left to fend for himself.  A series of bad experiences left him so shy of humans, that well meaning rescuers could not get near him.  He was hit by a car and his condition was deteriorating.  Finally, rescuers were able to drug some food left out for him, which knocked him out.  With our sponsorship, rescue champion Carolyn Jordan stepped in to save his life.  Our sponsorship will pay part of his medical and fostering costs.
