This wonderful Great Pyrenees boy was a starving stray wandering around rural Texas. He had the bad luck to be hit by a car. As a result, he had a back injury that has left one leg paralyzed and his head was badly cut open. He also has heartworms – an expensive condition to treat. Kahuna ended up in a kill shelter with very little chance to be rescued – who would want such a damaged dog?
With our sponsorship, our friends at Lonestar Pyrs & Paws Texas took him in. He will need a lot of extra care, but he is safe and will hopefully get a family of his own someday. Our donations will go towards his vet bills and foster costs.
