This is Billy, a handsome boxer boy. He went into a shelter and was rescued. I suppose the rescue could not find someone to adopt him or maybe no one wanted to pay for his heartworm treatment when they found out he was heartworm positive. So the rescue organization returned him to the shelter. That was a really cruel turn of fate.
He was due to be euthanized when the Rescue Express took him out, with our sponsorship. Our donations will go toward the costs of fostering him and paying for his heartworm treatment.
