Rupert was turned into the shelter at 10 weeks of age - probably another case where the breeder had an extra pup from a litter that he couldn't sell. The pup gets a little older than the perfect adoption age of 7-9 weeks, so take him to the kill shelter because it's not worth spending the money to vet and feed him.
Shelters are death traps for puppies, places where they can easily catch distemper, parvo or other deadly diseases.
