Fiona

Doomed Dog Emergency!

If you have $5 you can spare, please Chip In!

Look at that face - the sad face of a faithful companion abandoned by fate to a likely death.  Fiona is a loving Great Pyrenees dog that ended up in a kill shelter in Kentucky.  She was sick with heartworms and a heart condition.  Kentucky is a death trap for Great Pyrs in shelters as the existing rescue groups cannot handle the number of Pyrs that are abandoned there.

Rescue angel Paige Segovia of Lonestar Pyrs and Paws Texas wants to help Fiona, but she is already overextended with commitments to so many other Great Pyrs.  She has asked for our help to save Fiona.

Paige only asks for help when the situation is desperate.  We agreed to post Fiona to see if our group would support saving this big, sweet dog.  To save Fiona, we need to act quickly.

Please chip in this weekend if you can - Paige needs money to be able to get Fiona to the vet on Monday.

Thanks for helping.  There are hundreds of Great Pyrs alive today that your contributions have helped save over the last year - your club is a major force in supporting the rescue of these wonderful dogs!

All donations go directly from Paypal to the Lonestar Pyrs & Paws Texas, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save them and many more!
