Polar is a good boy – but that didn’t keep him from ending up as a stray in Georgia. Beautifully housebroken, he must have been a house dog. However, his owners didn’t claim him – so they must not have looked for him very hard. Perhaps, as happened to so many dogs in the last couple of years, his owners abandoned him because they couldn’t afford to keep him.
To keep him from being destroyed in a kill shelter, our friends at Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta, with our sponsorship, have taken him into foster care. Our sponsorship is helping them to afford to vet and foster him, while they find him a permanent family.
