Our friends Connie and Dave are planning another trip. I can’t match Connie for eloquence so here is her email to me:
Hi Michael,
Me again. We have a urgent transport this coming Monday night to MN.
As everyone knows Oklahoma and other southern states have been hit with the extreme heat. I have a rescue friend who has to get some of her dogs transported. She has no air and she has very little money for dog food.
She has 18 puppies and over 60 other dogs.
Dave and I are going to transport the puppies and at least 30 of the other dogs to the Animal Humane Society this coming Monday night.
We plan on another transport to help her at the end of September.
We are in desperate need of gas money to help us with this transport. We have to drive over 1 hour l way just to pick up the dogs tomorrow, take them all to our vet on Thursday morning for their vaccinations and heartworm tests, then transport them on Monday night.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

The stray dog situation in Oklahoma is beyond desperate. Connie and Dave are the only hope for so many dogs and puppies and your contributions really help - without gas money, the vans don't roll!
Connie and Dave regularly drive around and pick up doomed dogs from shelters in Oklahoma and Missouri. These dogs would likely be put to sleep if not for them.
