Bear is a huge Newfoundland with some huge health problems. Like his brother, Duke, he was severely neglected by his owners, resulting in serious eye issues, for which he needs surgery.
Our friends Gisela and Rosie from St. Cloud's agreed to take him to keep him from going to a kill shelter, where he would certainly have been put to sleep. We agreed to sponsor a portion of his medical expenses to give him a new chance at life with a good family.
