Sarge

Could you chip in $5 for this poor guy?

This is Sarge, a German Shepherd being saved by our friends at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.  Here's his story, from rescue angel Jean Harrison of BFDR:

"If it weren’t for bad luck, poor Sarge would have no luck at all. Sarge was abandoned next to a truck stop in Tennessee. When a good Samaritan attempted to untie him from the tree where he had been left, Sarge bolted straight into traffic and shattered his leg. Multiple surgeries and several casts later, Sarge now has a serious infection that has developed and there is no hope of saving his leg. We tried very hard to save his leg and it just failed. We are working feverishly to save his life at this point. Sarge is the happiest, goofiest boy in the world and we are all in love with him. Even in excrutiatingly severe pain, he is a love. His foster Mom is an amazing soul and she has done everything she can to help him, but an amputation is inevitable and is in his immediate future."

The estimated cost of his surgery, including the specialized antibiotics he is currently taking along with his current hospitalization costs is enormous - we would like to sponsor a part of it.

Please chip in and help raise $150 for him using the ChipIn.

All donations go directly from Paypal to Big Fluffy Dogs Rescue, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can help save these and many more!

Also, if you live in or near Tennessee and want to adopt him. please contact Big Fluffy Dogs Rescue athttp://www.bigfluffydogs.com/
