Big Earl

Please share/crosspost!

Could you spare $5 to save this good boy?

We have had our eyes on Big Earl since we saw him online in early November.  We have contacted many rescuers trying to find a group willing to take him.  Although he is a handsome, gentle giant, it has been hard to find anyone that would take him because he is heartworm positive.  Heartworm is a very expensive disease (it can cost up to $800 - $1,000) and most rescues cannot afford to take on heartworm patients.

Earl was lucky enough to be adopted.  Unfortunately, he didn’t get along with the dogs his adoptive family already had, so he ended up back at the pound.  Our wonderful friends at Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta have decided to pull him from the kill shelter even though this means dipping pretty far into their funds to pay for his treatment.  They need our help.

Please help us raise the $175 we need to help GPRA save Big Earl, using the ChipIn.

All donations go directly from Paypal to GPRA, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save Big Earl and many more!

Thank you so much for contributing. You have donated thousands of dollars in the last month to save these kill shelter dogs and you are really helping the selfless, heroic rescuers who do their best to save as many as possible!
