Cooper

Update:  With the help of the funds raised by the Doomed Dogs, the Cherokee Humane Society pulled Cooper from the shelter and boarded him for two weeks.  He is now in foster care in a rescue.

This is Cooper. Cooper is an inmate in the Gaffney, SC shelter and was due to be put down last week. The wonderful people at the Cherokee Humane Society got him a repreive for a few more days, but they need for us to sponsor him so they can afford to take him.

We have until Friday to raise $100. If we can raise the money, the Humane Society will pull him from the shelter and board him until they can find a rescue to take him.

From what I heard, Cooper was an owner surrender. His crime? He was too nice and too subservient to other dogs. I guess Cooper just wasn't tough enough for his macho owner, so the owner turned him in to be killed.

Anyway, we have the chance to save him and hopefully put him on the path to upgrading his owner!

Please contribute $5-$25 to save Cooper by Friday. Tax-deductible donations can be made to the Cherokee Humane Society athttp://www.petfinder.com/shelters/SC136.html

Donations can be made by check, by Paypal or with a credit card (please specify that the donation is for Cooper). If you donate, please comment below so we can keep track.

Thanks and bless you for helping this poor guy!
