Myles

Please share/crosspost!

Could you spare $5 to help another sick puppy?

This little guy is called Highway Myles.  He has sarcoptic mange, a contagious skin condition caused by mites (similar to scabies in humans).  This type of mange causes intense itching.  It is treatable and he should recover completely.

Myles was found on Sunday night by a kindhearted chicken farmer in Alabama.  He had been dumped on the side of the road by an owner not exactly filled with the spirit of Christmas.  I suppose having an itchy puppy that needed some medical treatment was too much for the owner to deal with.  Perhaps the jerk was hung over from too much celebrating on Christmas day?

Myles’ mange is so bad that the shelter could not even tell that he is a Great Pyrenees puppy.  Lucky for Myles, one of the best GP rescues in the country has offered to take him.  With our sponsorship, Lonestar Pyrs & Paws in New Hampshire will board and vet him and then transport him to New England to go into foster care.  They will ensure that he ends up in a great family.

Please help us raise the $150 we need to save Myles using the ChipIn.

All donations go directly from Paypal to Lonestar Pyrs & Paws, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save Myles and many more!

Thank you so much for contributing. Your donations are having a big impact - our Club has helped to save 28 dogs from kill shelters this month!
