Whiskey is a pretty little Springer Spaniel. A series of disasters left her pregnant at a kill shelter in Texas. Unfortunately, the Shelter’s vet didn’t realize she was pregnant and spayed her, killing all the puppies. She then caught an upper respiratory infection. Our friends at St. Cloud’s rescue pulled her from the shelter before she could be put down. Then they discovered that underneath all the feces and filth from her cage at the shelter, her spay stitches were seriously infected. This necessitated another operation.
