This puppy just got a name - Alex the Great - from a generous donor. At three months of age he was dumped outside to fend for himself. My guess that his breeder couldn't sell him and he was getting a little old for continuing to feed him to be a good investment. So the breeder took him out in the country and left him by the side of the road. He ended up in a Texas kill shelter. Luckily, with our sponsorship, our friends at the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society of Houston pulled him from the shelter before he could be put to sleep. Our sponsorship money will go toward his vet bills and other costs.
