Greta is a big Great Pyr that somehow became a stray. She was hit by a car which broke her leg. The driver drove away and left her to die on the side of the road. She was picked up by animal control and brought to the University of Georgia animal hospital. It was decided that there was no money to fix her up and she was scheduled to be put to sleep immediately when someone called Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta. GPRA agreed to pay for her surgery (very expensive) and take her into foster.
