Our friends Connie and Dave are planning another trip next week. This time it is a trip from Oklahoma to bring at least 54 doomed dogs and puppies to safety in the Windy City. Our $200 sponsorship is less than $4 a dog - it can be so cheap to save a puppy's life!
This transport is planned to take 42 puppies, two moms, and 10 little dogs. 12 of the puppies have a particularly sad story. They were born to a little Beagle (see the picture) and their owner refused to feed them or care for them. Fortunately, a woman in the neighborhood brought them food from time to time. Connie and Dave took them, covered with ticks and fleas. Now the Beagle pups have bright prospects, at least if we can contribute gas money.Connie and Dave regularly drive around and pick up doomed dogs from shelters in Oklahoma and Missouri. These dogs would likely be put to sleep if not for them. Your donations literally make the difference as to whether there is enough gas money for these trips to happen or not and whether these dogs live or die- thanks for your support!
