Chanel is a Great Pyrenees puppy that was abandoned and lived as a stray. She caught a nasty upper respiratory infection at the shelter. At the shelter, there was no medical care available for her. With this illness, she was unadoptable and was slated to be killed.
With our sponsorship, our friends at the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society of Houston pulled her from the shelter. They got her to a vet and started antibiotics right away. Our sponsorship money will go toward vet bills and other costs of fostering her until a permanent home can be found.
