This sweetie is Little Bunny Foo Foo. She didn’t get along with the other dogs in her home, so her owners got rid of her by dumping her at a kill shelter rural Texas. This story, which we hear over and over, just drives me crazy. Why couldn’t these people come up with a better solution to the issue that having a shelter kill their pet?
Anyway, most owner surrenders are put to sleep immediately in busy shelters, but Bunny was lucky. Our friends at Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue, with our sponsorship, pulled her out and, thank in large part to your generosity, she will eventually end up with a nice, permanent family that will cherish her.
