Flower

Please share/crosspost!

Could you donate $5 to save this poor girl?

Flower is around 18 months old. Although she looks like a Chinese Crested or another hairless breed, she is actually a pure-bred Great Pyr (we think). Flower has sarcoptic mange, a curable type of mange caused by tiny mites (like scabies in humans). It causes terrible itching. This poor baby has literally scratched all her fur off. I only put in a picture of her head because the full body picture may seem upsetting to some people, but if you want to see it, here is a link:

Flower was picked up as a stray in rural Texas and brought to small kill shelter. They had no room for her outside, so even though she is hairless, she was kept outside in the freezing weather.

Luckily for Flower, the heroic rescuers of the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society of Houston heard about her and, relying on our sponsorship, grabbed her out of the shelter and got her right to a vet to start treatment.

Now GPRS need our help to pay the costs to save Flower.

Please help us raise the $160 we need to help GPRS save Flower using the ChipIn.

All donations go directly from Paypal to the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save Flower and many more!
