Shaggy

Please share/crosspost!

Could you spare $5 to save this abandoned boy?

Shaggy is, well, a shaggier Great Pyr than most of that shaggy breed. He is a wanderer, as is common in Great Pyrs. He was picked up as a stray and ended up in a rural Georgia kill shelter. The shelter knew exactly who his owner was - but his owner didn’t feel like coming up with the cash to pay the shelter bill after he was picked up as a stray so, he told the pound to keep him. It is sort of the coward’s way to get rid of a dog you don’t want.

As an owner give-up, he had very little time to live when Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta found out about him. They quickly committed to get him and he is now safely in foster. Shaggy is a laid-back, friendly dog - but he needed to be neutered and requires expensive treatments for his heartworm. We agreed to sponsor him to help GPRA afford his vet bills.

Please help us raise the $160 we need to help save this shaggy dog using the ChipIn.

All donations go directly from Paypal to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save Shaggy and many more!
