Kodiak

Please share/crosspost!

Could you donate $5 to save this poor guy?

Kodiak is a beautiful, sweet natured Pyr boy who has had a hard life but fought hard to survive. The poor guy is deaf and for some reason other dogs don't seem to like him, though he is not aggressive to them. The other dogs pick on him and hurt him. Nasty people don't seem to like him either. As a stray, he was baited into following a buggy with meat, then lassoed and dragged along with the intent to kill him that way. The noose came off, luckily. Some farmers tried to shoot him before he ended up in the relative safety of the kill shelter. The world can be very cruel to stray dogs.

Well, this club is all about helping stray dogs - if you have a minute, take out a handkerchief and listen to our beautiful theme song at http://doomeddogs.blogspot.com/2010/11/stephanie-powel-song.html

Kodiak did have some luck - our friend, Carolyn Jordan, took him from the pound and is trying to get him back to normal, or as normal as life can get for a deaf dog.

Please help us raise $160 to help Carolyn save Kodiak using the ChipIn on our website at

All donations go directly from Paypal to National Great Pyrenees Rescue, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can help save Kodiak and many more!
