This poor guy was incarcerated in the Brownwood, TX kill shelter, the same shelter that held LuLu and Dolly. This picture was taken in the shelter. You can see from the picture just how nicely they treat the dogs there.
He doesn't have a name. [Update: our first donor chose a name for him: Mr. Maxx] In the shelter he had nothing, life was not good and he was doomed to die. The Great Pyrenees Rescue Society asked if we could sponsor his medical costs to enable them to rescue him. Once he’s cleaned up, GPRS should have no trouble finding an adopter. Surely someone will fall in love with that mellow, patient face! Don't you just want to give him a hug? (And a bath - though not in that order!)
Please help us raise the $135 we need to save him using the ChipIn.
All donations are tax-deductible. Please chip in with $5 or $10 - together we can save him and many more!
Thank you so much for contributing. Your donations are having a big impact - our Club has helped to save over 50 dogs from kill shelters in the last few months!
PS – since he doesn’t have a name yet, GPRS would like for us to name him. The first person who contributes $25 or more can have that honor!
