Modesto puppies

Could you spare $5 to save these doomed puppies?

These two adorable puppies (one boy, one girl) were born in the wild near Modesto, CA. They were trapped by animal control and brought to the local kill shelter. The shelter graded them as feral and unadoptable because the little boy nipped an animal control officer – as if a 6-week-old puppy could hurt anyone. At any rate, the shelter scheduled their executions.

A visitor to the pound saw them and thought they might be Pyrs or Akbashes, so she notified Janet Davis with National Akbash Rescue. Janet spent a frantic day trying to find a rescue to take them. None would - all the area rescues are very short on cash to pay for vetting and neutering. Janet asked for our help and we pledged $200 to save these precious lives. With our pledge, Janet was able to find a rescue (the Niko Rescue Foundation) to step up and take the pups!

If not for our Club, these babies would be dead now - thanks to your continuing generosity, another two lives have been saved!

Please help us raise the $200 we need to help save these puppies using the ChipIn.

All donations go directly from Paypal to the Niko Foundation Rescue, a 501(c)(3) charity, and are tax-deductible. Please chip in - together we can save these puppies and many more!

Thank you so much for contributing. Your donations are having a big impact - our Club has helped to save over 90 dogs from kill shelters in the last few months!
