Would you give $5 to help this sick boy?This is Troy, a gorgeous Great Pyrenees who became a stray for reasons we will never know. The world is a very cruel place for strays and their ability to survive depends on luck and the generosity of strangers. He did survive, but Troy ended up in a kill shelter in Georgia. He was not listed on Petfinder or Petango, so he would likely have been missed, except that a Doomed Dogs member emailed us about him. We contacted our friends at Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta and they pulled him from the shelter. He is underweight from his hobo days, suffers from a severe respiratory infection and is heartworm positive. So GPRA has some big bills to pay to get this guy in shape to be adopted.
